Event Information 

Conducting a thorough investigation is an important element in resolving workplace complaints, grievances or incidents. They are often necessary to properly get to the truth of the matter and fulfill legal compliance obligations particularly in regard to:

  • unfair dismissal;
  • unlawful termination;
  • adverse action;
  • OH & S requirements;
  • workers compensation; and
  • common law.

This program will provide participants with an understanding of the basic principles underlying investigating procedures, and to assist participants in resolving workplace complaints.

The workshop is conducted using adult learning methods to maximise interactivity, engagement and fun. The workshop includes hands-on activities and discussions using practical examples.
