The first pay table sets out the rates of pay and allowances that apply from the first full pay period commencing on or after 1 July 2021. This was due to the 2020-2021 Minimum Wage Increase of 2.5%.
Please note that with the final instalment of the Equal Remuneration Order on 1 December 2020 and the Minimum Wage Increase, all states are now in line with the SCHADS Modern Award, except level 1 SACS employee’s.
Employers with level 1 SACS Employee’s please refer to your States 1 December ERO pay table to confirm if an increase has occurred as at 1 July 2021. If the 2021 rate is lower than the 1 December 2020, the higher rate will be frozen until the next Minimum Wage Review. This is due to level 1 employee’s being exempt from the ERO.

Workplace Agreements: Where an enterprise agreement is in place, this pay table will only apply where the pay rates in the agreement fall below those in this pay table.
