Minimum conditions of employment such as hours of work and pay rates come from Awards, Agreements and the National Employment Standards.

If there is no Enterprise Agreement in place at your workplace, then a modern award applies.
If your organisation is in Western Australia, you may be covered by the Western Australian Industrial Relations System.
