Robodebt reform – update
On Wednesday 27 November, a Federal Court decision confirmed that the method of averaging of ATO income data to determine a debt through Centrelink’s Compliance Program (Robodebt) is unlawful. Earlier in November, the Government indicated that it would cease using this method as a sole means of determining a debt.
