Jobs Australia’s Membership Services Coordinator, Talie Collins, paid a visit to Jobs Australia Member organisation, Casey North Community Information and Support Service.

Casey North CISS provides a wide range of information to the community and has a database of almost 6000 local, state, and national services. They have developed a range of services and programs that respond to the pressing needs of the local community. Most of their community support services have been developed to assist people that may be experiencing a difficult time in their lives. There are a variety of circumstances under which this may be the case, and the nature of people’s lives means that no cases are the exact same.

As a result of the pandemic, the Casey North CISS has seen an increase in distressed clients who require assistance. Proactively, staff and volunteers developed skills and work practices that enabled the continued delivery of support, including those such as emergency relief, and staying connected with clients virtually when face to face was not an option.

Recently, Casey North CISS has implemented a Winter Coat Drive to provide warmth to those in need this winter. Please see the below flyer for further information on how you can donate.
