There are currently 3 main sources of minimum wages for SACS workers in QLD. These include wages set by:

  1. The transition from SACS (Qld) or CASH (Qld) to the modern award Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (CASH Q or SACS Q transition to SCHCADS) which will operate in conjunction with the national Equal Remuneration Order (ERO) from December 2012;
  2. The Transitional Pay Equity order (QCSCA TPEO) preserving pay equity increases arising from the Queensland Community Services & Crisis Assistance Award – State – 2008 (QCSCA);
  3. Enterprise agreements where the wage rates are higher than the wages set by SCHCADS and the ERO.
