Jobs Australia is excited to be bringing Members a suite of workplace relations training events nationally in the first half of 2020. If you are interested in attending, please purchase a ticket below. Please arrive at 09:00am for a brief networking session before we begin.

Poor performers will account for 20% of your team, but take up to 80% of your people management time, and we all know that this time could be better spent achieving the goals of your organisation.

Individual and organisational performance depends largely on the relationship between the manager and the employee.

This session will provide you with effective Performance Management strategies to ensure that your staff:

·         understand their roles and have reasonable performance expectations;

·         have a ‘line of sight’ between their work and the organisational goals;

·         receive frequent and timely feedback, coaching; and

·         understand that any performance deficiencies will be addressed in a timely manner.

Our performance management training is designed for those who manage others.

The Courageous Conversations part of the workshop focuses on building the skills necessary for engaging in difficult conversations with staff while maintaining the integrity of the relationship and achieving win-win outcomes for all.

Leaders undoubtedly find themselves in situations where they need the ability to be candid and carry out constructive conversations with their staff. These situations generally involve people with differing goals, perspectives, and interests, and occur in all kinds of working relationships. Developing the ability to effectively communicate in these challenging situations leads to greater satisfaction in working relationships, team culture, performance, and results.

The Courageous Conversations part of the workshop helps participants learn the skills they need to communicate with candour, particularly when engaging in conversations that might be difficult in the workplace.
