Managing Mental Health in the workplace | Canberra | 24 OCT
This workshop will provide participants with strategies to enhance organisational culture employee engagement, whilst highlighting the obligations employers and employees have in relation to the management of mental health problems or illness.
Much in the same way as we see benefits of promoting physical health in the workplace, offering supports for mental health issues can mean better outcomes for all concerned.
It doesn’t mean changing the DNA of your organisation, but rather a process that enhances your existing organisational culture by bringing an understanding of these issues into the workplace.
A workplace that promotes good mental health and supports those affected by mental health problems or illness can achieve more through greater morale and productivity for all employees.
Creating an environment of understanding by supporting those who may be experiencing mental health problems are essential components in the creation of a healthy workplace culture.
