Introduction

Jobs Australia is a national organisation that supports the largest network of Not for Profit Members who provide diverse employment services and pathways, education, training and skills development, and community and social services.

The 2022 Jobs Australia Conference aims to bring together our Members and peers and provide a program that is exciting, content that is informative, and an opportunity to reflect on where you are now, and how you will master your future.

As organisations move through the waves of pandemic management, navigating the impacts of economic and social upheaval and ever-changing business conditions is paramount, to ensure the best outcomes for clients are provided.

At the 2022 Jobs Australia Conference, you will hear from keynote speakers, guest speakers, and valued Jobs Australia Members across a two-day jam-packed program that includes a mix of plenary and concurrent sessions. Not to forget our networking event which will take place at the spectacular Lindsay Head Terrace; situated in the Adelaide Oval on the evening of day one.

A Hybrid Experience

Jobs Australia will be offering a hybrid conference model, which will consist of an in-person conference at the Adelaide Oval coupled with an online program so that both in-person and remote delegates can attend.

By offering a hybrid model we can be more inclusive and welcoming to a larger community who may not be able to attend in person due to travel, health, budget or other restrictions. Of course, in exploring more hybrid aspects, we aim to preserve the diversity, inclusion and accessibility of the in-person event.

If the Jobs Australia Conference 2022 is unable to run in a face-to-face format due to circumstances outside Jobs Australia’s control, the event will run as an entirely virtual event and all face-to-face tickets will be changed to virtual tickets with a partial refund issued and you will be duly notified. The Venue

Established in 1871, Adelaide Oval has long been one of Australia’s most recognisable and prestigious venues.

Its prominent location as the centrepiece of the Adelaide CBD’s revitalised riverbank precinct, along with stunning panoramic views over the city, the Oval’s hallowed turf, St Peter’s Cathedral and beyond, makes Adelaide Oval an outstanding destination.

Transport and Parking

Adelaide Oval is situated right in the heart of the city, framed by the River Torrens and surrounding precinct. Whether you’re traveling by car, bus, train, or tram, Adelaide Oval’s close proximity to the CBD makes it easily accessible.

Airport Transfers

Adelaide Airport is approximately a 16-minute drive from the Adelaide Oval.

Public Transport

Patrons are strongly encouraged to take advantage of public transport when attending events at Adelaide Oval. The Oval is accessible by train, tram and bus services.

Car Parking

Event Day

Car parking options on event days vary. Please refer to the What’s On page for parking information relating to each event.

Non-Event Day

Adelaide Oval operates two car parks on non-event days. These car parks are open to all visitors including Oval Hotel guests and those attending functions at Adelaide Oval.

Disability drop off and pick up zones for event days are located on:

  • War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop-off zone must be accessed from the western side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge (disability permit holders only).
  • King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic
  • Pennington Terrace (northern end of Adelaide Oval)

East Car Park

  • Access via King William Road (north-bound lanes only)
  • Open 24/7 (excluding event days)
  • Wilson Parking fees apply
  • Wilson Parking offers a $15.50 Early Bird Book-A-Bay Car Park in the East Car Park on non-event days. For more information please visit wilsonparking.com.au
