Qualification Partnering – ATN members are able to deliver qualifications from Jobs Australia’s scope of registration under a partnering arrangement. This means ATN members can gain speedy access to the qualifications and courses they need to respond to client needs.
View Jobs Australia’s scope of registration at
www.ntis.gov.au Provider No 6588. Under our partnering arrangement, members who have qualified staff can gain approval to deliver qualifications from our scope.
ATN holds some state and territory training contracts for our members requiring access to User Choice funding.
Influence – ATN is active in promoting the development of national and state VET policy. We aim to ensure that the views of members are heard and that the conditions for service delivery remain viable.
Professional Development – provision of professional development for trainers and assessors is a core requirement of Registered Training Organisations under the AQTF. ATN offers workshops for trainers and assessors in all states.
ATN Network meetings are held in most states and territories 2-3 times each year. These provide members with the opportunity to keep up-to-date with policy developments, network, share local knowledge and practices, solve problems, and learn about new training opportunities.
Consultancy and Auditing Services
ATN consultancy and auditing services include:
• AQTF internal auditing;
• validation of assessment tools; and,
• development of AQTF compliance systems.
The ATN Administration Manual provides a set of procedures and forms to assist members in delivering qualifications in a partnering arrangement with Jobs Australia.
The ATN AQTF Policies and Procedures Manual is available to all members free of charge. It is useful for members seeking to become an RTO and helps existing RTO members to develop their own compliance system.
Indigenous VET – ATN works closely with Indigenous member organisations to add recognised training and assessment services to their current range of services. ATN’s experience has demonstrated that high completion rates and real achievements in the skilling of Indigenous clients are most attainable when organisations deliver training themselves.
